Disability Equality Internships

The Disability Equality Internships give third sector organisations the opportunity to recruit the knowledge, skills and enthusiasm of a disabled person to complete a specific piece of work/project of value to their organisation.

Each internship will last for a maximum of 455 hours with weekly hours agreed with successful applicant based on reasonable adjustment needs and needs of the project.

All applicants must define as disabled as per the Equality Act 2010:
Someone who has a physical or mental impairment that has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on his or her ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities.
